To develop and carry out a quality merit badge program that
aids Scouts on their path to Eagle Scout.

Must be in good standing with the Boy Scouts of America,
Conquistador Council, and Wehinahpay Mountain Camp.

Has achieved the Eagle Scout rank
Description
The Trail to Eagle Director will have skills in and knowledge of Scoutcraft and Eagle
required merit badges to instruct campers in the merit badges and program offered in the
program area. Specific responsibilities include:
Supervise, train, and motivate the Trail to Eagle Area staff in all their activities.
Offer a quality Trail to Eagle Area program which may include the Citizenship in
the World, Citizenship in the Nation, Communication, Public Speaking, and
American Heritage merit badges.
Direct the set-up and take-down of a quality Trail to Eagle Area.
Maintenance, inventory, security, safety, and wise use of all Trail to Eagle
equipment.
Maintain strict discipline at all times when campers, leaders, and other staff are in
the area.
Represent the Trail to Eagle Area at all area director meetings.
Participate in all camp-wide activities as assigned.
Make a written advancement report on all Trail to Eagle Area activities at the end
of each week.
Conduct program staff evaluations for Trail to Eagle Area staff as requested and
submit a written report on the work of each staff at the close of the camp season.
Submit a complete inventory of all Trail to Eagle Area equipment, including
condition and recommendations for next year's supplies.
Assist in the set-up and take-down of all campsite facilities.
All other duties as assigned.
